Our Rosé is a pure expression of how our Bell Mountain Vineyard can express rich fruit and palate cleansing acidity at the same time. The Bell Mountain Rosé is a blend of saignée that is captured during the pressing of our red wine blocks where quick skin contact allows for a gentle color extraction. The freshness is captured by fermenting cold in stainless steel and bottled soon after to capture the vibrancy and fresh fruit flavors. 

The 2023 Bell Mountain Rosé is a lively and refreshing blend that embodies summer vibes. With bold flavors of ripe strawberry, tangy rhubarb, and zesty lime citrus, it offers a well-balanced experience. The creamy finish adds a smooth touch, while grapefruit notes contribute to a lively and rounded finale. Pear pie nuances and a structured frame enhance the wine's complexity, creating a rich mid-palate. Balanced acidity ensures a vibrant finish, with hints of white peach adding to the overall appeal. Light enough for solo sipping and versatile for pairing with summer salads featuring grilled peaches, this Rosé is a great choice for warm days, providing a taste of the season in every sip.

Vintage

The 2023 vintage was exceptional in so many ways and is expected to stand out as one of the finest. Beginning with a much-needed abundance of rainfall, a welcome relief after three years of intense drought, the vineyard came back to life with vibrant soil and canopies. A cool spring and summer allowed for a prolonged and gradual ripening period, resulting in exceptional phenolic ripeness and abundant flavors without excessively high sugar levels. Harvest kicked off later than usual, progressing at a steady pace that required lots of patience. This promises to be a vintage worth remembering and one that will let Bell Mountain truly express itself. We can't wait to savor the fruits of this extraordinary season.
